Membrane Wastewater Filtration | Anti-Fouling Karman Vortices
The system makes use of Karman Vortices to generate strong turbulence over the surface of the membrane, preventing the membranes from fouling. This is done by using energy efficient rotating blades between membrane surfaces, carrying away foulants into the feed stream. The bodies of the blades are made with lightweight plastics specially designed to resist chemicals and corrosion.
The system is modular, made up of membrane modules which can be stacked together for extra capacity to create a block. The system can be taken apart for service on-site, providing you with quick and easy repairs to only the damaged components.
