We provide compact off-the-shelf and custom solutions for a wide range of applications including telecommunications, public safety, defense, EMC testing, radar, Satcom and particle accelerators.

High Power Solid State RF Amplifiers in GaN, GaAS & LDMOS Designs

Since 2001, we have developed over 650 different designs of amplifier modules and rack-mounted systems, using the latest GaN device technology and linearization techniques. Our Class AB Solid State designs extremely rugged and reliable, providing instantaneous ultra-broadband and 50 Ohm input/output impedance matching. We cater to various wireless standards including LTE, GSM CDMA, UMTS, and others.

Our solutions are commonly used in LTE base stations, repeaters, digital TV transceivers, public safety systems, military jammers, klystrons for heavy-ion accelerators, and radar systems. We also serve specialized medical, scientific and industrial applications such as pulsed radar systems, EMC test equipment, and energy amplifiers for particle accelerators. Linear Power Amplifiers | Predistortion and Feed Forward Amplifiers

LPR’s linear power amplifiers provide the ideal combination of high efficiency and high linearity for mobile communication systems and public safety systems. These solid state modules are widely used in LTE and WCDMA signal amplifiers, base stations, RF repeaters, line amplifiers, and digital TV amplifiers.

Various linearization methods are implemented such as Analog Predistortion, Feed Forward, and Adaptive Bias Control Circuits. Analog Predistortion is well-suited to modulation signals with bandwidth >1.5 MHz, while the Feed Forward technique is suitable for GSM and other multi-carrier signals.

High Power RF Amplifier Systems for Particle Accelerators and LINACs

High Power Solid State Amplifiers are required to drive superconducting cavities in heavy-ion linear accelerators. LPR provides complete solutions consisting of high power amplifier systems, combiners, circulators, directional couplers, and water dummy loads, which are all manufactured in-house.

As a key supplier for South Korea’s RAON project since 2012, we have in-depth knowledge of accelerator technology. Using this expertise, we developed an 80 kW RF amplifier system with 60% efficiency, which includes combiners for high power and a water-cooling system for effective heat removal. We have since expanded our product range to include various narrowband amplifiers with power levels of 4, 5, 6, 7 and 20 kW as well.
