Solid State Linear & Broadband Amplifiers for Communications and EMC Testing
LPR Global’s RF Power Amplifier solutions include Solid State Linear and Broadband Amplifier Modules and Rack-Mounted RF Amplifier Systems for a wide range of applications including telecommunications, public safety, defense, radar, satcom, EMC testing and particle accelerators. Amplifer modules are designed using GaN, GaAs and LDMOS devices, using analog pre-distortion, feed forward and IMD cancellation methods. Specialized solutions include pulsed radar amplifiers up to 9.5 GHz with 280W output power, high power modules up to 1.5 kW and rack-mounted systems up to 80 kW. We provide standard and customized solutions from 20 MHz to 8 GHz to leading global companies including Empower RF Systems, Cobham Wireless, LG, TMD Technologies, and others.
Solid State Power Amplifiers | Class AB Linear GaN & GaAS Designs
LPR’s RF Power Amplifiers are available in frequencies between 20 MHz and 8 GHz, with power levels up to 250 watts. Since 2001, we have developed over 650 designs of amplifier modules and rack-mounted systems, using the latest GaN device technology and linearization techniques. Our solid-state linear designs are extremely rugged and reliable, and are equipped with built-in control, monitoring and protection functions. They are ideal for all modulation standards, providing instantaneous ultra broadband and 50 Ohm input/output impedance matching.
Our solutions are commonly used in base stations, RF repeaters, public safety radios, military jamming systems, RF energy systems and PIM testing equipment. We can also cater to specialized medical, scientific and industrial applications such as pulsed radar systems, EMC test equipment, and energy amplifiers for particle accelerators. LPR’s Linear Amplifiers are ideal for use in DAS base stations, RF repeaters, line amplifiers and digital TV amplifiers. They provide high linearity for modulated signals and multi-carrier signals, and come with built-in monitoring circuits. Linearization techniques implemented include analog predistortion, feedforward, and IM cancellation techniques.

LPR’s Broadband Amplifiers are suited to wideband and band-specific applications in communications, defense, satellite, radar and testing. Using GaN, GaAs and LDMOS technology, they provide high power density and high efficiency over multiple octaves. These solid state modules work over multi-octave bandwidths and even in the harshest environments.

Broadband Amplifiers for EMC Testing | Industrial, Medical, Scientific Applications
Our advanced broadband amplifier technology is widely used for radiated immunity testing by laboratories, researchers, and electronic device manufacturers. It provides superior performance with high gain, wide dynamic range, and excellent long-term reliability. The shelf-type models come in a 5U, 19-inch rack case, supplying power up to 500 watts. The rack-mounted models are single-input, multi-output systems, enabling alteration of the maximum frequency. An LCD touchscreen is provided on request for easy operation.

EMC Testing Amplifier Features
High Power RF Amplifier Systems for Particle Accelerators and LINACs
High Power Solid State Amplifiers are required to drive superconducting cavities in heavy ion linear accelerators, in order to. LPR provides complete solutions consisting of high power amplifier systems, combiners, circulators, directional couplers, and water dummy loads, which are all manufactured in-house.
As a key supplier for South Korea’s RAON project since 2012, we have in-depth knowledge of accelerator technology. Using this expertise, we developed an 80 kW RF amplifier system with 60% efficiency, which includes combiners for high power and a water-cooling system for effective heat removal. We have since expanded our product range to include various narrowband amplifiers with power levels of 4, 5, 6, 7 and 20 kW as well.
