The Rack & Roller Pinion Systems employ a modified cycloidal or trochoidal tooth profile, which applies a smooth-rolling contact that ensures zero backlash, low noise/vibration, high durability, and high shock resistance. While our robust Planetary Gear product line is ideal for high radial and axial loads and compactly constructed to provide superior accuracy in applications requiring high torque.

CRP Series | Zero Backlash, High Speed, Lubrication Free

The CRP Series is distinctive from the conventional rack and pinion systems because of our proprietary tooth profile. The uniquely modified cycloidal shape creates a rolling motion, which maximizes the tooth contact ratio and lowers the tooth surface pressure and contact stress. Slippage and backlash are minimized, providing high efficiency and productivity. Noise is also controlled even at high speeds (standard 6 m/s, maximum 10 m/s). Minimum or no lubrication is required, ensuring clean installation and operation. The pinion is completely sealed (IP54-IP67) with an internal, self-lubricating structure that has support bearings at both ends. There is no limit to stroke lengths and designs; we can provide customized solutions for both linear and rotary motion challenges with these key features. Our Clean Rack and Pinion Series enables quiet and smooth operation of gears with minimum wear.

LE Series | Gearbox-Integrated Pinion

 

The LE Series is an innovative, all-in-one solution that integrates the gearhead within the pinion, resulting in a compact, zero-backlash and low-noise unit. Its unique rear mounting structure eliminates the need for additional output shafts, shrinkable connectors, reduction gears or mounting structures, as is the case with front mounting. All models are designed to IP65 standards and come with lifetime lubrication. Incorporating our patented tooth profile, the LE series is capable of high accuracy, increased load capacity and faster acceleration.

LPR’s rotary transmission systems use a unique planocentric structure and mechanism to provide high performance with advanced features. The patented cycloidal tooth profile maximizes the tooth contact ratio and increases shock load capabilities while keeping backlash at less than 1 arc-min. Rack and Pinion Gantry Robot | High Payload

LPR offers medium and heavy duty rack and pinion gantry robots for automotive engine transferring, tire automation, welding automation.

 

Compared to linear gantry robots, rack and pinion robots allow a higher payload up to 3,600 kg, and precision.

 

We can provide standard 1-axis, 2-axis, 3-axis gantries with payload up to 400 kg. Heavy duty gantries for challenging applications are also available. Nominal speed of gantries starts from 2.6 m/s.

Iron | Aluminum | Steel Gantry Loader Solutions

Rack and pinion gantry loaders are commonly used to carry materials to castings machines. With a required payload usually over 100 kg, standard gantry systems do not allow such operations, hence a rack and pinion system has to be applied. A fully automated gantry system for more than 20 casting sets can be installed at your plant.
