The LPR-DGMC partnership offers North American companies a unique opportunity to explore technical partnerships with machine manufacturers and fabrication shops based in Daegu City, South Korea.
Toronto, Ontario – September 28, 2021 – LPR Global Inc. announces a new relationship with the Daegu Gyeongbuk Machinery Cooperative (DGMC). The new collaboration expands LPR Global’s ability to connect North American companies with Korean manufacturers based in Daegu City, the recognized hub of automotive parts and machinery innovation in South Korea.
DGMC has been playing a pivotal role in promoting Daegu City and Gyeongbuk Province’s machinery manufacturers in the global market since 1962. On September 1, 2021, the two organizations consolidated the partnership to make LPR Global the exclusive marketing consulting and engineering services provider in North America for DGMC member companies.
“Working with DGMC will give us new capabilities and new offerings,” explains Mikah Lee, CEO of LPR Global. “Expanding on our 20-year experience of helping Western companies source from Korea, this new partnership will give our clients additional choices and options related to engineering services. As our institutional partner based in Korea, DGMC will facilitate technical transactions in collaboration with LPR’s engineers in Korea.”
The new LPR-DGMC collaboration is designed to align with LPR Global’s mission to connect North American companies with reputable Korean machine manufacturers and bolster joint development of technology in the automotive, steel mill and energy sectors.
“We are very much looking forward to working with LPR Global and deepening the partnership. US Korea Hotlink is a great success of LPR Global, as it has been enhancing the presence of Korean manufacturers to the rest of the world,” says Woo Gak Choi, Chairman of DGMC. “LPR Global’s engineering support network in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany and other countries will surely bring great value to our member companies, since the lack of global engineering support network has been the main challenge to our members’ global growth.”
