Direct Buried Microducts are recommended for direct burial in prepared ground. Resistant to crushing and flexing, these cables also use a metallic or non-metallic moisture barrier and flexible HDPE.

Thick Walled

Designed in bundles for direct burial, thick walled microducts do not require a protective duct and can be branched off easily as a single direct-buried microduct. A further benefit of this system is that it does not require fiber closures, using only simple connectors to branch off microducts. See our downloadable spec sheet for various diameters and colors.

The tube bundle is surrounded by PVC filler and a flexible sheath. The outer sheath is rugged PE providing maximum protection against the outside environment. This system provides a better water blocked solution and low thermal length changes.
